Frequently asked questions about senior photos

Are they worth it?

Having your photos professionally taken is a great way to celebrate the milestone of high school or college graduation. You worked hard to make it to this milestone academically and extracurricularly. This gives you the opportunity share your excitement with family and friends as you transition to the next stage of life, leaving childhood behind. In the future you can look back on these memories and remember the things & activities you loved and the person you were.

Anyone can snap a picture of you but if you want someone who will make you look your absolute best you need a professional photographer. They can give you cues for posing, facial expression, are pros at lighting, and framing a photos. Not to mention the professional editing that truly brings your photo to life.

How do I make my senior photos unique to who I am?

Including the things you love is a great way to customize your senior pictures and make them unique to you. Including sports, cars, animals, or instruments are a simple ways to remember the things you loved at this time in your life. If you see something on Instagram, Pinterest, or a magazine, Share it with me and we can work together make your vision a reality. Styled sessions are a great way to capture a different vibe and feeling setting your senior pictures apart from the rest.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Your senior photos are a reflection of who you are. I always recommend choosing outfits that you feel good in. Stay away from things that you constantly have to adjust, or don't fit right. When you're uncomfortable it will show through in your images. So pick items that your look and feel good in.

Colors that photograph best are neutrals, blues, greens, white, and black.

If you need help with choosing what will photograph best I am always happy to provide input to help you get images you will love.
